Recently, Dongding Special Tubes has successfully passed the GJB 9001C Weaponry Quality Management System Certification (hereinafter referred to as Military Standard Certification). Following the acquisition of the IATF 16949 automotive industry certification, this marks another major breakthrough in the company’s quality management system development, signifying that its quality management system meets national military standards and has received authoritative recognition for product quality and management capabilities.
In recent years, Dongding Special Tubes has vigorously expanded its external market, targeting high-end sectors including aerospace, nuclear power, military industry and automotive. Access to these fields requires relevant qualifications, and Military Standard Certification serves as the access threshold for entering China’s military industry.
To obtain the certification, the technical team of Dongding Special Tubes systematically studied relevant standards, optimized business processes, and supplemented special military requirements on the basis of the ISO 9000 system. A complete set of quality management system documents complying with military standards was then formulated and implemented. After three months of system operation, the company applied for certification from an authoritative institution. Following a two-day on-site audit and rectification of non-conformities, the company successfully passed the certification and obtained the qualification certificate.
The successful certification has laid a solid foundation for Dongding Special Tubes to develop the military market. Having obtained access qualifications for both the automotive and military industries has further strengthened the company’s resolve to expand into high-end external markets.
