Recently, the newly added high-speed rolling mill of Dongding Special Tubes has completed installation and commissioning and been officially put into use, effectively breaking the existing production capacity bottleneck of seamless tubes and marking that the company’s rolling production line has entered a new stage of high efficiency and intelligence.
The operation of the high-speed rolling mill has not only achieved a dual upgrade in rolling capacity and product quality, but also implemented the strategic planning with technological empowerment, injecting strong momentum for the company to deepen its development in the special pipe sector and enhance its core market competitiveness. The new equipment has achieved immediate results: the rolling speed has increased by more than 60% compared with traditional equipment, fulfilling the core goal of "improving production capacity support capability" set in the investment plan.
According to estimates, the new high-speed rolling mill will boost the annual production capacity of seamless tubes by 500 tons.
