Recently, the laboratory of Dongding Special Tubes has successfully passed the assessment conducted by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and received the laboratory accreditation certificate on the 13th of this month, with the certificate number CNAS L22194. This proves that the laboratory of Dongding Special Tubes is equipped with professional testing capabilities.
CNAS laboratory accreditation is an internationally recognized laboratory certification. Obtaining this qualification not only affirms the laboratory’s testing capacity, but also helps enhance the company’s image and competitiveness, facilitating the development of both domestic and international markets.
With this goal in mind, Dongding Special Tubes began preparing for CNAS laboratory accreditation in 2023 and officially launched the project in August of the same year. During this period, the company sorted out the accreditation process with the help of a consulting firm. Under the unified arrangement of the leading team and the specific implementation of laboratory staff, a management system was established and operated in accordance with CNAS requirements. The laboratory was upgraded and renovated, competency verification was carried out for testing items and personnel, and maintenance and verification of testing equipment were completed.
In July 2024, after meeting all requirements, the company submitted an accreditation application to CNAS for a total of 10 testing items, covering the main physical and chemical testing items of the company’s products. Subsequently, it passed the document review and on-site assessment in the second half of 2024. The accreditation certificate received recently marks a satisfying achievement for Dongding Special Tubes.
The acquisition of CNAS laboratory accreditation will help improve the public credibility of products and enhance the company’s market competitiveness. The laboratory will continue to conduct impartial testing and continuously upgrade its testing capabilities in compliance with CNAS requirements.
