To rigorously strengthen work safety management, Dongding Special Tube Company has launched a safety month campaign under the theme "Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response – Identifying and Eliminating Risks and Hidden Dangers." On the launch day, company leaders delivered safety briefings and held a company-wide safety commitment signing ceremony, marking the official start of a series of safety month activities.
This year's safety month campaign focuses on critical areas including stainless steel heat exchanger tube lifting safety, gas and electricity usage, material handling, vehicle transportation, and temporary operations. Targeting common "low-standard, old-practice, bad-habit" issues frequently seen in the handling of long stainless steel heat exchanger tubes, coil lifting, and electric cart transfers, the company has rolled out comprehensive measures such as enhanced training, practical drills, hazard inspections, and on-site supervision to systematically identify safety risks and ensure smooth production operations.
The company has organized dedicated lifting safety training sessions covering stainless steel heat exchanger tube lifting specifications, lifting gear and sling inspections, and the "Ten No-Lift" rules for crane operations, supplemented by hands-on practical training. All employees are required to participate, further standardizing operational practices and effectively preventing accidents. Concurrently, a special rectification initiative has been launched for the transfer of long tubes and coils, standardizing procedures for loading, unloading, rolling, towing, and placement, delineating safety corridors, and strictly regulating transfer processes through daily team-level self-inspections.
In the coming weeks, the company will also conduct a series of specialized safety trainings on gas and electricity usage for stainless steel heat exchanger tubes, organize relevant emergency drills, and hold "Incident Review" educational sessions. By revisiting historical cases, the company aims to further identify management gaps and refine emergency response plans.
