To solidly ensure production safety during the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays and resolutely prevent various production safety accidents during the holiday period, the company organized a joint special inspection covering plant safety, 5S, equipment, and processes. A full-coverage inspection was carried out in key areas such as Workshop 1 and Workshop 2, the maintenance room, auxiliary rooms, hazardous waste storage, and the power distribution room to comprehensively identify various on-site risks and hazards. This inspection covered the entire production process of the company's main products, including stainless steel welded pipes, stainless steel seamless pipes, stainless steel coiled tubes, stainless steel heat exchanger tubes, precision stainless steel welded pipes, and precision stainless steel seamless pipes, ensuring the safe and stable operation of all production lines during the holiday.
The inspection was led by General Manager Liu, with a team composed of Lyu Jiangang, Tan Wei, Zhao Fuchen, and Song Hao. Multiple hazards were identified on site. In terms of safety, issues included angle grinders and electric flatbed carts not being powered off after use; crane lifting loads left suspended without supervision for extended periods; inadequate protection for grinder operators; hydrogen pipelines not equipped with static electricity clamps; fire extinguishers not inspected and registered on time; and tripods stacked too high. In terms of 5S management, many areas had oil stains on the ground, accumulated waste and garbage, tools, slings, and safety helmets placed randomly, materials stacked directly on the floor, and tool carts not organized in a timely manner. In terms of electrical safety, violations included damaged distribution box doors and multiple pieces of equipment plugged into a single power strip. In terms of process equipment, some process parameters did not match the requirements of process cards, equipment operation and cleaning records and other ledgers had missing entries, and some equipment had severe dust accumulation. The inspection team particularly pointed out that process parameters for production lines of stainless steel welded pipes and stainless steel seamless pipes must be strictly implemented, cleaning and operation records for stainless steel coiled tubes and stainless steel heat exchanger tubes must be complete and traceable, and production sites for precision stainless steel welded pipes and precision stainless steel seamless pipes must further strengthen 5S management and equipment maintenance to prevent on-site management oversights from affecting product quality.
In response to the hazards identified, the company has formed a special problem list, specifying the hazard content, responsible department, responsible person, and rectification deadline item by item. All problems are required to complete closed-loop rectification by September 30. At the same time, all responsible units are required to draw inferences from one case, organize internal self-inspection and self-correction, strengthen on-site operation control, strictly implement safety operating procedures, enforce process discipline, and address shortcomings in on-site management, providing solid safety assurance for the stable production of stainless steel welded pipes, stainless steel seamless pipes, stainless steel coiled tubes, stainless steel heat exchanger tubes, precision stainless steel welded pipes, and precision stainless steel seamless pipes.
Going forward, the company will conduct rectification reviews for all hazards, closely monitor the effectiveness of closed-loop problem resolution, and strengthen pre-holiday safety warning education for employees. It will consolidate post-based safety responsibilities at every level to ensure a safe and stable production site during the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays, and ensure that all types of special tube products are delivered on time and with quality.
